Good idea, really awful execution. May as well just carry a SAK or a traditional pattern slipjoint given the size of that thing, I mean what's the point of making the knife "legally" acceptable when it looks like something the police may hassle you over anyways?

Don't get me wrong, I think most of them are very good knives, especially my excellent Byrd Tern, but I don't routinely carry mine outside of work as it's just not very friendly looking.

I've never had an issue with Spyderco's wire clips, even held with one screw. It's quite secure.
The black one is Pingo, the pink one is Squeek.
