The wife's micra was confiscated at the airport
on: June 13, 2014, 05:47:53 AM
We're here at the airport going to Singapore. Xray revealed the LM micra I gave to the wife and was confiscated! But the Wenger nailcutter was spared. I  could have argued but asked the immigration officer
If I could have it back upon return on Monday. He just said " let's see" . Well, he gave me his cell no. Hope he returns it.( fingers  cross)

Good luck with that. There are definitely advantages to being a local when it comes to getting your stuff back, without a fee anyway. I have to say though, I got lucky flying back from Cebu (to Iloilo) and security missed my Vic Bantam.

In Manila they no longer have a smoke room in one of the terminals and so I went in and out 6 times. By the fourth time security wasn't even checking me anymore and just waiving me right on through ...

Hope you get it back Bro. you have to check knife laws also, in Hong Kong the law treats a flick knife the same as hand guns.
