Thanks for the encouraging words. The tool is made of 0-1. Double tempered to about 56RC. Makes for a pretty tough tool. I may try some other steels once the prototyping is over. Maybe CPM-3V or S-7? Something that doesn't mind being hit with a hammer. The 0-1 is holding up nicely in field tests though. Can you spot all the tools incorporated in this multi?Dave

Is there any reason you NEED a karambit, instead of just grabbing any knife like that and slash away?
