Help! iPad users,how do you...

How do you download pictures from your iPad to your Windows PC?

Please don't make me go to the Apple store and ask them! PLEASE!

I normally use dropbox to move files from one to the other

Connect your iPad to your PC using the Apple cable. Your PC will see the device and allow you access to the iPad's photo album.

If you are connecting for the first time, you may need to check the iPad screen as it sometimes wants you to confirm you want to connect to the PC.
If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck.

Cheers Millhouse. Any time I've had the two connected,I've only been able to upload from the PC,never download from the iPad

Kirk13,

with the desired picture displayed FULL SCREEN on you iPad, place it face down on your scanner

initiate a scan at the desired resolution, but ensure the resolution is not greater than the resolution of your iPad, for this would be a waste.

open the scanned picture and crop it to remove iPad boarder.

ta-da!!   done

JUST KIDDING
If I can help, let me know

As soon as I connect it with a cable a folder pops up,  containing the pics. It is the only folder available with that simplistic OS, you won't miss it. Otherwise Dropbox, Google Drive or mail the pics to yourself. You may even post them to MTO and download them with your PC browser (lighter versions) .
Android is a much much better OS IMHO (versions 4,2-4,4). More optiins there. You may connect wirelessly and access ALL files, or put the microSD card to the reader.

Forget iTunes.

Plug your device into your computer using the cable.

Check screen on iPad, it may ask if you trust the computer. Select Trust.

If iTunes opens, close it down.

Open My Comoputer, your iPad will show up as a drive. Open it up and it will lead to the Photo Album. So long as the pictures you want are there, you can then just copy them to the computer.
If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck.
