Shark leather wallet

Met an old buddy of mine last week who had a black shark leather wallet. I really liked it but he didn't know where it came from as it was a gift a few years back.

Has anyone else got one of these or know where I can pick up a nice one?

The one he had has an edge made from sort of plated leather strips which I also like and looks like it makes the whole thing really strong.

I hate to say it, but whenever I need something along those lines the first place I look is eBay.

Had a look on ebay but the quality looks really bad and the leather doesn't have much texture

I'm afraid I don't have any experience with shark leather wallets, but a quick Google for "shark leather wallet" returns a good half-dozen promising sites, some of which look pretty nice.

They're not shark skin, but if you want a nice sturdy wallet that will last a long time, I can personally vouch for Fox Creek Leather.  Mine has been carried every day for six years, and while it is starting to show some signs of wear, I suspect it has quite a bit of useful life left in it...

A nice looking wallet but I really want a shark leather one.

This is the best I've found so far http://www.realmenswallets.com/product/sharkskin-wallet-tough-leather-wallets/   It's got a really nice texture and I love the full shark leather interiors.

About 10 or 20 bucks more than the ones I saw on ebay but quality wise they don't compare + they ship world wide for free!

These things are supposed to be very strong and hard wearing anyone here ever had one?
