I would like to thank the forum, yes you. It is a great thing to share a passion/hobby . I still get amazed when I talk to friends/anyone about multitools & they look at me funny  ::). It is so good to log on & converse with like minded souls about the mighty multitool . It has been a real plus to me to have this new, albeit expensive ,hobby :D. Since I have stopped playing sport I have realy missed sharing a blokey interest with other blokes .So thanks again it has been great being a small part of this being that is multitool.org ,  it has helped me through a bit of a rough patch . I am off tomorrow for 2 weeks I hope I can keep in touch with the forum & post so cool pics of my adventure( if I can ever I can master photo bucket >:( >:( :D) Chow for now.

I share your pain- no one in my daily life has any more than a basic, passing familiarity with SAKs and multitools, and so I had to start my own place to discuss these things.  I'm just glad that other folks had the same problem, and yet also the same fascination.

In fact, the only person besides myself that had an interest in any kind of knife collecting was not the kind of role model anyone would want.  You can read all about it in the first installment of the History of SOSAK article here:

http://www.sosakonline.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=261&Itemid=35

It's been a long but very rewarding road, both on SOSAKOnline and Multitool.org, but I wouldn't hesitate to do it again!  There's too many great folks like yourself that appreciate places like this to consider otherwise!
