That wire stripper looks like it'll work fine.  Couldn't be any worse than the standard though could it?  :D

Do you reckon you could do mm markings as well?  We know the laser is up to the resolution.

Wow, the detail on the babal fish really came out well.  :o

But did he get written Vogon approval for it??

Some run from breaks of ice, and answer none:
And some condemned for a fault alone." -William Shakespeare, King Lear (1608), Act IV, scene 6, line 169

Much better than the original. I tested it last night, using various gauges of solid core wire. It works surprisingly well.

Yes, I used a Dremel. A buddy of mine, who used to work at an armory, game me these specialized tiny grinding bits. The job took no time at all with the proper bit.

Cool SAK Spork.  8)  I hadn't thought of using the plain backspring to add an extra set of blades.  How is the access to the nail nicks?  Does it need any modding to the blades?

I located the woodsaw layer between the blades so access to the original nail nicks on the middle blade layer is not too difficult. Adding a 5th scissors layer in between would make it even easier.

The large blade in the middle must be of the older thick tang type. The outer blade layer can be either type.

There's a few other plain main blade backsprings to keep in mind...the 93mm and 108mm Solos.

I've been tinkering with an orphan 84mm scissors backspring that will work with a thick tang blade...but the blade must be shortened to fit in the closed position.
