How much of a bargain was it? Worth me buying a backup for my oldie?
Yes, its quite precisely Ranger (128mm) x Cadet (85mm) x Cadet (9mm)

How is it with pictures? It goes for 42-46 euros here, say 50 with shipping. It is cheap but I see that they have it in pink . I must decide how much it would be used, since the convenience of the LG tablet with reading of every format, full color, direct download from the net, mail, torrents etc and the beautiful high definition 8.3" screen would make me feel restricted with this. On the other hand I was reading books of a strict special format in a 160x160 3.2" screen (Palm Vx) and was very happy to be able to do so, just 15 years ago. But my eyes were younger then.
