Picture hosting

I just wanted to complain that all of my hosted pictures will be going away.  I'm letting the account with my host expire because now I get a Flickr Pro account with my AT&T DSL services.

I guess I'll slowly go back and edit all of my posts with pictures in them to correct the problem.  This will not be fun!

Who had you been using before?

Picturetrail.  I will be saving $20 a year by dropping their service, and the account was limited to 500 files or 50GB.  My Flickr account is unlimited.

Honestly, the $20 a year might be worth all the trouble of having to go back and replace the URLs.

Yeah, and I can't replace the pics on SOSAK, because you can't edit your old posts.  hmmmm......

I wouldn't worry to much about Sosak, as it's such a complete PITA to search for a thread, I doubt anyone will find them anyway

Well, screw it.  I've been playing around with Flickr, and I really like their options and organizational tools.  They are many times better than Picturetrail, and free for me!  So, I will be dropping Picturetrail and most of my photos on the site will disappear.

Once that happens, I'm open for any requests for old photos, and I'll post them from Flickr.  I doubt I'm going to expend too much effort to go back and update my old posts.
