Well, I'd have to go with the Pharmber, but if I had to pick off the lineup I'd say the victorinox evo grip 18, it's all the same tools as the Pharmber, yet has an awl, the scissors are serrated, tweezers, and toothpick. The only thing is it's smaller and has the funky grip.

What's a Pharmber? Sounds like a custom job. Got pics?

Probably a Ranger or a Champion Plus for me. I'm let to find a use for SAK pliers so the extra bulk of the Swisschamp over the Champion is of no use to me.

In actual real life though, it's my Farmer.

Usually it would be a craftsman but I'm really getting fond of the explorer, it's getting a bit of pocket time lately.

When I think about a SAK I start with a swiss champ and take off what I dont need... while the inline phillips is nicer, I prefer to not have the mag glass, keep the sak thinner and make do with the backside phillips.

Agreed. My thought process exactly.  Which is why I'd either choose the Handyman or a Deluxe Tinker.

I like the Handyman over the Craftsman because I use the corkscrew more than a T-phillips. Also, the Handyman has a near identical tool load to the Swisstool Spirit but at only 5.5 ounces.

But I almost never need a saw or a file, so to pair things down further, I could go for a Deluxe Tinker. But then I lose the corkscrew. Maybe a modified deluxe Tinker with a corkscrew?

But if we're talking mods, then it's my Ti Pioneer with scissors and pliers (courtesy of syph).  :D

Agree, one of my most favorites.  :tu:

This is a factory Deluxe Climber, Early 90's with solid scales. Pocket perfection.  :)

Craftsman - al the tools I think I would need yet still not too difficult to carry. As a matter of fact, I think I'll try carrying it as my only knife next week :D

Tinker, Super Tinker or Hercules for me.
I knew my wife was a keeper when she transitioned from calling it a knife thingy to a multi-tool.

Evo 16 for urban carry.  While I like the Victorinox small blade I don't get scissors and no nail file, plus the Wenger nail file can be given a precision driver tip.

Would have been my dearly loved black Evo 18 except I lost it

SwissChamp, or at a pinch a Craftsman.  I'd probably get by with a Tinker though.

At the moment I am in the Wenger camp. Wenger 1.13.51. Its basically an 85mm camper with nail file instead of second blade. No scale tools though.

I do carry the Swiss Champ a lot though.

I've given this subject a lot of thought and come to the conclusion that if I could only carry one Sak it would be this

I gotta go with the Huntsman as well. Just enough tools to do what I need, and only just a hair over the weight I would like it to be for EDC. But if I could only have one, that would certainly be it.

I'd have to go with my Woodsman, the Greenwood; Got everything I want except an in-line awl.

I'm facing a trilemma, I can't decide between the Vic Handyman, Vic Huntsman with nylon scales or the Pioneer.

Maybe a Pioneer + scissors would be the answer.
