Victorinox Part number question
on: July 27, 2014, 11:20:09 AM
I own a Victorinox Tinker Deluxe (No hook) circa 1980’s, and I can't locate the Victorinox part number for that knife. Does anyone know the Victorinox Numerical Part Number for that knife?

I would guess (?) it's the same part number as the only major difference is the
addition of the parcel hook on the later model. Sakwiki doesn't list a different number.

Thanks for the input. But being a manufacturer of knife assemblies, one would think that Victorinox would issue a newer part number just to keep sales tracking of the newer product accurate.

Yes, you'd think so; but I just checked Sakwiki climber which has been around forever and
the parcel hook was added in 91, but there is no new number for just the addition of the hook.

One would think, yes. But I don't believe they did change the product numbers when they added the hook. :-\
