This floating ball is known as the globe. It sits in the middle of a plaza next to the train station. A guy with a hot dog cart sometimes sets up in front of the globe on days in the warmer months.
Here's high falls, it's where the city of Rochester was built for the water power. There's also a lower falls. The pool at the bottom of lower falls is the ending point for annual salmon runs that are fun to fish at.
