Picked up a Dr Grabow savoy briar and some corn cob Missouri meerschaum pipes for cheap.

the Savoy was 4.99 normally bout 30 and the corn cobs are 1.50.
All their pipe tobacco was 75% including those big ole tins, huge boxes of cigars , zippo lighter fluid, matches..they aren't gonna carry tobacco after Sept 1st I hear.

Funny how they are all righteous about tobacky but carry hard liquor and beer.

It depends on the store. My store has sold down about a third or so of our stock, mostly the boxes, and our cigars and loose tobacco ranges from fifty to seventy-five percent off.

We probably have it the worst here for liquor and tobacco.  Liquor can only be sold at NSLC (Nova Scotia Liquor Commissioner) locations, and ALL tobacco products must be kept out of eyesight.  That means that anyplace selling tobacco must have some sort of enclosed cabinet to hold everything in.  When they open the cabinet, they're not allowed to make the contents visible either.

Oh yeah, a 24 of beer also costs around $45!!

i should clarify...TEXAS has beer and cigs anywhere and everywhere. Hard alcohol one needs to visit the liquor store to obtain. I'm in Louisiana a lot for work and they have everything you want on the shelf. Vodka, cigs, slot machines, gambling, hookers, 420 related items. Hell, they might sell sweet dank on the side , who knows. Central and south Louisiana is like the wild west... Even land your chopper at the hotel for the night. Gotta be rules for just landing a helicopter between 2 busy hotels right?  naaaaah.

Do NOT get the 'Factory Value Bundle' of 20. They are disgusting! I lit one outside, gave it about 1/2", and threw the remainder in the trash. It would be an insult to even GIVE them away.

 The 7x48 Hampton Churchills, 3 to a pack are a medium body smoke, fairly tasty, especially at the price!. Held a good 1" + white head.  Almost as tasty are the 6-pack of gigantic Honduran Handmade Maduros at 8.5x52. They also have them non-Maduro.

 I am smoking the first of the 4-pack of Don Seville. It's the tastiest of the three! However, appears to be cut filler, not that it should really bother you. Just  be careful to flick the head sooner, particularly if you're in your car.

Do any of you have experience with the Italian brands they sell? Perodi is one of them, but they all seem to say 100% tobacco on the package, unlike the GyV, DMs and the like....
