The management at Discovery needs to stop listening to the <BLEEP> tea leave readers and fix the shows they have that are popular, or they will turn into something full of stupid. History needs to do the same thing. Or both of them will be following the path of SciFi to "Syfy".

Syfy... sounds like something you don't want to ask your doctor about but probably should.

I protested by cancelling all of my cable television earlier this year, and saving $1000+ per year in the process.  I still have Netflix, which btw also has Mythbusters.  :)  Just not the latest episodes.

several years ago, I lived on History Channel and Discovery Channel,  now, that is not so.

Luckily I have a Roku,  and if I want to learn something, I watch the MIT Open Courseware channel

I don't know what happening at Discovery, Cody Lundin leaving Dual Survivor, Trio leaving the Mythbusters...

I wonder if the trio or some of the trio is forming a new show?  Or is it a budget cut so the Adam and Jamie have to let them go?  But I have to agree with what some previous said, it is not quite right after 10 years of hard work, to just give a few minute tribute to these important crews.  At least, interview them for an episode and do a through review.  The quick dismiss has led me to believe the separation may not end well.

Do not get me started on Discovery Channel's Shark Week. What a joke that has turned out to be.

Way to go and piss off the entire scientific community Discovery.

End result, less and less real scientist who will be willing to be interviewed for Discovery programming.  :facepalm:

There were a few hints towards a possible spin off for the trio.  But, I think this was a shakeup from flat ratings.  The show has gotten a bit too full of itself, IMO, so hopefully they can get back on track.
