G'day, another Aussie here
on: September 26, 2014, 12:39:51 PM
Hello from the land down under Down Under, Tasmania!
Just been having a bit of a look around here and thought I'd join up.
Started out with a Victorinox Huntsman originally, then got a LM Juice Xe6 at work. Carried that every day for about 8 years and have upgraded to a Surge.
Had some time off work with a broken ankle recently and spent a lot of time on Youtube watching leatherman reviews.
Well, one thing led to another and I bought a Gerber Dime, and a Victorinox Minichamp, then one with red alox, then a silver Cadet, then a bunch more for groomsmen gifts. Now I'm waiting for a LM Squirt PS4 and a Gerber Shard, and there was a Fenix E05 in there somewhere... Now I get on here and see all the custom alox work and want a Cadet with scissors  :sak: ..........
I think the sickness has set in, but i reckon I'm in good company here!

That's awesome! Can't complain with that. And yes I concur, the surge is the best LM made.

Welcome TassieRob  :)

Love Tassie - Spent a summer holiday over there a couple of years ago. It's stunning. Stayed in Freycinet and just South of Hobart: Saw killer whales, albatross, seals and dolphins, tallest tree in Oz, Wineglass Bay and way more - just beautiful.

The Aussies are taking over!!!
Yay  :ahhh

Cheers, Nate. When work is paying, why not get the best?!
Wow wish my work would buy me a multi. :(

Oh, I forgot, good call on the Surge. Best LM ever made.
Too big and heavy as a multi for me - But if you need a big one for work (or home) etc go for it

Am heading your way on Monday
Me too - Auckland - See ya there!   :D

I'll have to put my ANZAC 2C worth in...

Welcome TazzieRob.  Great to see yet another Aussie aboard.

I'm in Brisbane, but originally from Auckland. Moved here nearly 20 years ago.

Enjoy your stay here, and that whimpering noise you can hear is your wallet. There are some VERY skilled enablers on this forum.  :ahhh

Thanks all for the welcome  :salute:

I hit the button on a black pioneer and silver farmer last night

I assume I'll be ok to carry a SAK in NZ without any issues?

No probs with that.

Just remember not to carry it as part of your on-board carry luggage on your way back.

Put it in your checked-in suitcase.
