Does that use the stock circuitry?  Very neat :)

So, you have a lathe do you ... you really didn't want to let me know that  >:D ;)

I have a couple of little projects I can't do, because I don't have access to a lathe. I'm sure we can come to a mutually beneficial agreement :D

Two of my favourite small lights.

Left:   Surefire E1E with reflector McR20S, Seoul P4 U2, driver GD1000 (1.000 mA to the led)
Right: Surefire E1E with KX1 head /stock optic, Cree Q5, driver GD1000
Output >200lm       Both can use CR123 batteries and RCR123 rechargeables.

I´m a big fan of McGizmo. But I´ve never got one of his rare lights (missed the last wave too). So I ordered some spare parts (bezel ring, lens, reflector, driver, clicky, clip, @Sandwich Shoppe) and tried to build a McGizmo-style light. Now I´ve something to play with until the next wave comes.

Oldie with ancient technology, but let's see your fancy aluminum and titanium gizmos dive to 100 meters.  >:D

I'm feeling nostalgia at the moment and using it for around the house. Output is actually quite respectable, around 30 lumens on 4 AA. Running it on rechargeables so don't care about efficiency.

McGizmos lights are designed for EDC, not special for diving, because of the push button.
For diving to 100 meters (!) your light is far better (BTW, I use a similar light, UK300).

I nearly sold my Princeton Tec40 but the trade fell through so I thought I'd give it another go.  It is actually a superb light for what it is  :).  Mine is the newer type with the rubber grips and I have stuck a Mag bulb in which makes it even better.

Yeah I was dumb enough to buy two replacement bulbs at $9 each, well it's OEM so it oughtta be better right?  ::) Should've stuck with cheap rayovac xenon bulbs.

I actually just ordered a new style off ebay, it was $18 with free shipping so might as well have a spare handy.
