Cool goodies just in from Mikko

The bike tool set my wife has pinched. Apparently she had a set identical as a girl in her saddle bag. She's just got a new (to her) bike so guess where they're going.

A used mini for me to abuse

and check out the cool screwdriver. Very comfy and will be heading straight into my toolbox . There was also a little penknife but that seems to have been eaten by my desk

It matters not though. As I said, The bike tools have been claimed, ready to go into active service

I think the M95 will be my Winter bush knife and the Martini can be the summer one

Bah, all your guy's appreciation for Mikko (Tarrodemierda) is completely insignificant compared to MY appreciation for him! You would not believe what this fellow had to go through to get me a Noks Biker multitool from Russia. What a trooper he is! I simply cannot express my gratitude enough.

Got this from Mikko today:

Okay, so I already had my keys, lighter, Utilikey, whistle and Photon. Still, considering all I asked for was a lowly Fuse, I think I got a pretty sweet deal.

Where do I start?

The "lowly" Fuse looks nothing short of astounding. I swear, if I didn't already know it was modded, I'd have thought it was a Leatherman special edition. Likewise, the "used" part seems dubious when I need a (graciously provided) P-38 to open some of the tools. Like I said, it's like it just came off the store shelf. Great, great mod.

Between Maglite's warranty and Mikko's generosity, I found myself with a brand new 2AA MagLED absolutely free. I ran into some trouble trying to open the conversion kit's package without too much damage, until it dawned on me to use the new Fuse. Gutting hook to the rescue!

The Maglite in the picture is a full convert. Packaging holds the original parts.

There was a whole bunch of other stuff included as well, most of which is going straight into my EDC.

This was one bargain trade. Thanks!
