Timothy Dalton was my favorite. He seems to be the most true to form of everybody who played Bond.
but I would imagine the best spy should be more subtle and slick like Sean Connary.
Here's a question for you Bond fans, let's see who knows the answer. In the movies Bond famously uses a Walther PPK, but only because he's forced to turn in his favorite pistol at the beginning of Dr. No. In the novels, what is James Bond's preferred sidearm?

JRYep! It was a Baretta 418 in .25 ACP. A well-known gun expert wrote to Ian Flemming, saying that Bond was using a "lady's gun". Flemming changed it in the novel Dr. No, and the Walther has been iconic ever since.
Hubby is opening his presents for his birthday, and got 'Quantum of Solice' and 'Octosmurf'.This is part of the reason we're not getting the big 'all movies' pack. It gives him something to put on his Amazon Wish List.

Eventually that Bond 50 Blu-Ray set will be mine.
