Who else here has aquariums besides me? I've kept fish every since i was a 12 year old. Right now i have a 100 gallon with a Red Devil, a 55 gallon with a jaguar cichlid, and a 30 gallon grow out tank with  burundi frontosa fry in it. In the past i've had oscars, convicts, discus, angelfish, gar, crappie, largemouth bass, peacock bass, and even a bluegill catfish.

One day when we buy a house my dreams of a 300+ gallon aquarium will come true.

I had fish for a while, but they were actually to feed my turtles...

I love turtles, tortoises and terrapins of all kinds.  I have kept soft shell turtles, red eared sliders, painted turtles, snappers, maps, muds... you name it, I've had it at one point or another.

And I have a fascination with sea turtles as well. like these guys:

Not to mention the giant tortoises from the Galapagos, like the Saddlebacks...



and the regular, run of the mill Giant Tortoise...



Of course, while I've actually ridden giant tortoises, I have never kept many of these varieties at home for obvious reasons!

But, these are the kinds of things I have always kept in my aquariums.  I had fish when I was a kid, but they never really fascinated me as much as turtles do.  I always dreamed of a 1,000 gallon marine tank with a small shark in it though, like a white tipped reef shark, tiger shark or even a nurse shark.  Whoey and I planned to set one up years ago, but never did.  Someday maybe...

I have a 55 gallon tank... In there I have: some Bala Sharks and some Texas Cichild fish... I am thinking about getting a larger one and buying some Oscars!
