The clip is the one thing that bugs me (no pun here, spiders are arachnids and no bugs!), I don't like the way it looks else that is a pretty knife.
It's hard to imagine ( coming from California ) but I completely get it about the knife's perceived cuteness vs the reality that it's still a knife no matter what color the scales. I can also see how the blade shape would also lend to the perception as well. I guess for those of us where the laws allow for many types of blades even the non blade people don't get as startled. They've more or less become desensitized if you will.
