Er,the Tinker?

I'm guessing your looking at the CT33?

Still the Tinker. One,I'm in the UK so the locking Crater is not best suitable. Two,the Tinker carries more tools, three it's more pocketable, four it's cheaper! Also and most importantly it's the friendly red knife. A Crater ain't going to go down too well in public

I would go with Crater. Much more capable blade, pocket clip, and carabiner. Alltough, i love vics, but will take thicker blade.

Both have their merits, though neither of them would be a primary choice for me.

In town? On a boat? Up a ladder? Depends on the circumstances as to whether I would prefer an alternative clipped OHO blade, or an alternative SAK

It would be an easy call for me.  I would take the Tinker, as it offers more capabilities in a slightly more compact package.  You could easily put a small carabiner through the key ring on the Tinker if that feature is important to you, so the only thing advantage of the Crater would be the locking OH blade.

An OHT might be another option...

The tinker, hands down.

I like the more capability, lighter weight smaller package, and Victorinox quality.
Don't get too serious, just enough will do.

Neither! I choose the SMALL tinker!

I found the C33t to be just about the least lefty-friendly knife ever. 0 benefit over two hand open. The Tinker (small or otherwise) has better tool selection. In fact, I gave my crater away, I disliked it that much.

Tinker FTW. And for that, I blame the Devil from Jersey.  >:D

I ended up getting a C33t. It just had more of a want factor than a Tinker to me.

I like that Crater, it's kinda unique. The blade definitely inspires a little more confidence than a SAK's if you end up having to use it somewhat forcefully. The only downside is that it's a little on the fat side for something I'm going to clip onto my pocket. I think the blade launcher is a trap though: it seems so cool, but it always manages to slice up my thumb on the sharp corners of the handle! I need to try to sand those down a little some time.

May it be as the Pattern has chosen.

I think the crater is a more heavy duty tool than a tinker. I used to EDC a Crater a few years ago, and I remember it as a very capable tool. It is however a little big and clumpy compared to a tinker.
The Crater is also more OH friendly than the tinker. Every tool on the Crater can be easily OH opened and closed.
For normal EDC carry I would prefer the Tinker. But as a work tool that would be used a lot and hard, I would prefer the Crater.

I have a C33t and a pair of Tinker Smalls.
I often carry a Tinker off work, but for work I carry the C33t.

The screwdrivers on the C33t are a lot more robust.

Edit: the other knife+ is the Buck Xtract, I don't like that one so much. It's a lot flimsier.

This is a hard one as I like them both, If it came down to it I guess it would have to be the Crater, I like the pocket clip , black coating and serrations. The Tinker has its place . Also at work the OHO is paramount for me.
