Any one have any stag handled models?
If so can we see?

Also any ideas where they can be bought?

Cheers

Ian

Just first aid ... :D

I have a bunch of Swisschamps, but this stag beauty is my favorite by far. It also has the rarely seen toothpick and tweezers, which were not included on most stag models

At one time Victorinox offered a number of stag-handled models, but they were discontinued probably two decades ago. The knives were expensive when originally offered, and even pricier now. Some of the models had their own names. For instance the stag-handled Huntsman was called the Archer. The genuine Vics used brass pins to hold the handles on.

Occasionally Vics with after-market stag handles show up. (2nd photo). All the ones I've seen glue the handles on.

I think one of the members here had one for sale a while back, that may still be available. I think DrGonzo?

Check EDCsource, here and eBay too.

You also need to clarify if you want one with original Stag scales or one that had stag scales added later.

Original or added later would be fine but I would prefer them not to be glued on.

They are some beautiful pieces you have shown though lads thank you.

As ColoSwiss noted, the Vic genuine staghorn models have 3 brass pins visible on the scales & their Vic ID have a .68 suffix.
Vic also produced ersatz stag scales w/.06 suffix.

Just thought I would try bringing this post back to life.
If anyone has an archer model I would be interested.

Cheers

It was my EDC knife for many years, I use it only at home now.

After end of communism (it was hard to buy anything from West Europe during that sad era) at my country I bought wenger. :-)

But I still love this one :-)

Storky that would be perfect. Mind if I ask where you got it.

Or if your looking to sell it?
I got a Compact yesterday and it is the perfect tool set so if I could get that with Stag handles would be over the moon

Cheers
