Came in today: Classic SD LE2016 "Rainforest walk".

The book is "Edda", a collection of ancient Icelandic myths, including the story of Yggdrasil, the tree of life.

Amici,
That clip is something I came up with one day for easy yet comfortable SAK EDC. The reason being, since how some folks absolutely HATE bulky items in their pockets which includes me but yet feel the need to carry a plethora of pocket tools on a daily basis.

One of the biggest complaints you hear from folks when it comes to the SAK, is the bulk and the weight, especially when it comes to anything consisting over two layers.

So one day I picked up a cool Ti clip some years ago right here from EDCS and attached a Mcgizmo # 2 clip and BANG! instant pocket clip carry.

I like to carry the big models, since I'd rather have a tool and not need it, than to need a tool and not have it. So when I EDC any SAK I use this rig.

I use it with the Champion as well as the S557. I also use it with the smaller models such as the Explorer as well as the Pioneer. And in both scenarios, they seem to disappear right into the pocket. That especially goes with jeans, shorts, or even khaki's that you would wear around the office.

Anyone can put this together, all you need it is a pocket clip, some sort of clip with a gate, and a split ring or two.

The beauty of this setup is if you run into a big job, you just unclip the rig from the split ring on the rear of the SAK. Then reattach it back onto the split ring once your done. Then it's back into the pocket..

Cheers,
Serge

It amazes me how a good suspension clip makes the bigger SAKs so much better in pocket carry :tu: Almost makes them disappear in my pocket :o :like: :like: :like:

Very nice stuff, mate

I've pocket carried many SAKs on a basic clip myself. Up to and including my CT34  :tu:

I'm into the custom clips and various sized carabiners and pocket hangers to match any SAK with whatever clothes you're wearing.

Not using any right now though.
