I am planning to get the best hunting knives or camping knives which I can take along with me to outdoors survival trips like trekking or hiking. Further, I can also use it for everyday carry to outdoors as well. Want these outdoors survival knives from brands like Gerber, cold steel, tac force, etc.
If I need to pick some good EDC tools.
Then I would take my love leatherman multi tool wave and a flash light. Other are just a waste !!!

Enzo Trapper 95 - built to last, 01 and 02 steel about and, if you're lucky, 12c27 or S30V stainless.  Coice of handles, curly birch etc, micarta, G10, Scando or flat grind - you name it there is a variant  :)

Can't go wrong with a good Swedish knife, look at Mora and Hultafors to start with. :)
Be excellent to each other and always know where your towel is.

  • Look at all those shiny sharp things.
Mora 2000 is good affordable knife. You could try Marttiini knifes. One of best scandi knifes there is.

Absolutely.  I'm a fan of theirs as well and think they should be as well known as Mora are around the world. :tu:

I'd add a good throwing knife too.  Great for outdoors and camping trips.

  • Why haven't you got a Farmer yet!
A very good all rounder that my better half bought is the TOPS BOB. That's a very good knife for all bushcraft/survival tasks :)

Falkniven F1 is deservedly popular and performs much better than its small size suggests it would.
Give in, buy several Farmer's!!!!!!

You got to start with a Mora  :salute:

But how about a Lofty wiseman or a Chris Caine in the future?

Mora is a great decision.

But with a larger budget I'd go with an esee :D

So many knives and only two hands

Mora is a no brainer IMO.  My camp kitchen knife.

Tops BOB looks like an great one to have.

RAT 3 is one I own and is a terrific small utility blade.

Less expensive options I looked at were Schrade SCHF37 and 38.

Mora is the best value/performance fixed blade around. IMO.
