SAK Alox key folder

I did a little searching and did find anything on this.  I just thought I would throw this idea out there.  If you have an old beat-up set of Alox scales, they might make a nice key folder.  Perhaps shorten them and add some pivot screws.

The only problem I see is the pivot. I don't think pivot screws will be big enough. I guess you could always cut the existing hole out and drill your own though. I think it is a excellent idea though.

I've done a few of these. I just take out the can opener and use it as a guide to cut the right shape from the key with a Dremel. My EDC is a blade, awl, cap lifter and key combo and it's just right for me.

I've put pictures on here but not sure if they'll show. I'll persevere if not...

Thanks for posting.  I've been wondering about that too, if I can minimize my keys down enough.
