Gerber Flik Jammed

Hello and thank you for the add.
I was curious if anyone else has had issues with the Gerber Flik 12 tool muti jamming?
The pliers were flicking out easily and going back in just fine. Then out of the blue they have jammed about halfway in. Anyone have a fix for this? Thanks!

Is it the plier head that jammed? If so, can you pull it back out again?

If you can provide photos of what exactly is jammed that might help a lot. Meanwhile, if you have a look at this thread it might help you figure out the problem.

The Flik is a good design and I like it very much, but it is a bit overly complex sometimes.

Are both of the black tabs sitting the same way? I'm wondering if one of the pawls hasn't disengaged properly.
