SAK scissors on wave

I have modded a few waves and a charge tti with wingman scissors, but I am interested in putting SAK scissors on a wave/charge. What model SAK do I need, and what is all involved? Mostly interested in doing this because they don't make a BO wingman, and I need scissors for my BO wave mod and my new BO tti setup.

I looked through that thread quickly and didn't see mention of what I consider an annoying problem when modding using a component with inadequate tang to keep the liner compressed until it engages. In that case the liner engages at half open and needs to be depressed to continue to full open or maybe that is kept depressed for the whole of the close.

From memory and looking at the pics in the link there isn't enough metal on 91mm scissors to satisfy all requirements, though as one of the posts points out the hole centre can be chosen to achieve lock-up.

The first post has a pic of it and the last post makes a pretty clear mention of it. In general most threads with this mod will mention it. Great that you brought attention to it though as it could be a deal breaker for some.

Wondering, if ALOX scales would fit a huntsman... My modded LM charge tti goes off for cerakote this week, and figure if I can put ALOX scales on a huntsman, I could color match my LM and sak.

Nope. 2 mm longer (91 vrs 93mm), wrong pin position and no backtool cutout.

As for wave with scissors, there was a mod where someone added a part to the scissors tang to stop the liner from engaging. Drilled out a second hole end pinned a piece of metal to it. Think it was posted on edcf.
