Baladeo Eco133 - for dining anywhere
on: August 26, 2012, 06:47:45 PM
Interesting concept.. The Baladeo Eco133 looks like the offspring of a K.I.S.S. and a Hobo Knife..

I like that but for $68 (or even on sale for $49) that seems unlikely to dethrone my Eat'n Tool or Light My Fire spork any time soon.

I like it but not the price.

It's the best looking spork I've seen.

I like the design aspects, but I'm not a huge fan of eating implements with hinges. I do prefer easy to clean options. Thanks for flagging this up, but I'll be sticking with my stainless Esbit spork  :)

Looks classy!! (better be for that price..) I want one, though I have no real use for it... maybe in green.

:D The problem is that nowadays real Hobos only carry shotguns!

(By the way that film makes Machete look tame)
Kelly: "Daddy, what makes men cheat on women?
Al : "Women!"

Hobo with a Spork!  :ahhh :D

I like the design...not sure about the brand. The only time I've seen Baledeo knives being sold is on closeout on the REI website...they were mostly Laguiole type knives.

I've seen that knife (standalone version) in store and it's pretty low quality, sticker price is $30 if I recall, but I wouldn't pay more than $10. Add a spork I'll maybe pay $15.

Nice looking little tool.

-Don't like the combo spork.
-Too pricey for me.

I'm with the Boss... I'll stick with my LMF Spork.

I was thinking to refer to this knife as a "Hobo's Kiss"   :D

Until checking Hobo's Kiss Definition at the Urban Dictionary ...

Yes, it does have the qualities of a hobo knife, and yes, it is similar to a CRKT KISS knife.... but no, it would not be good to call it a Hobo's KISS knife!

I can just imagine the discussion in the marketing office now....  :ahhh

I just had to refer to this thread to show how/why I know what a Hobo's Kiss was.
