Aren't they awesome birds Mags?  Great pics sir!  I shot this pic with my hikers, probably the most comfortable boots I own.  The Woodsman really means outdoor walks to me!
They are Bazzer  :salute: Cool boots and I love the scales on that Sweet sweet Woodsman.

It's a tunnel under a railway Bazzer - we had the railway about twenty feet above us on the left and the river (Avon) a few feet below us on the right. Great seeing the trains going past every half hour.

I'm trying to decide if l can EDC a 5 layer SAK.

Cheers

Roughly .910" over the scales.......they carry well with a suspension clip.  Good luck........

Thanks for the measurement.
I had seen somewhere that mentioned that it was 1", but l couldn't see how adding a saw and a liner could add that much over the thickness of an Explorer.

My ideal edc, a bladeless woodsman.  8)
I hope it fits in here.
(No scales on yet)
Thanks to mags for the donor knife.  :salute:

And yet, with my bad modding skilz...  :-\
The tools have good snap, and the SAK looks fine from a distance...
But when you look at the mag end, the opener/corkscrew layer is all wonky.
Maybe I over preened some rivets, or they were bent?
In anycase, I wont be fixing this until I get some 2.2 and 2.5 mm pin stock locally, all this sanding for an uneven rivet is killing me.

Bladeless woodsman was with me when I went bashing rocks looking for fossils.    :)
He helped me split fractured rocks apart. (I made sure that I did not try splitting too tough rocks with him)

My bladeless version is still being EDC'd.  :)

Since the only back tool on it at the moment is a corkscrew, I'm planning on adding the hook to the scissors which are at the opposite side of the SAK, as compared to the corkscrew layer. It should balance the aesthetics of the backside nicely.

Finally got around to rescaling a factory Woodsman I picked up a while back. Now I need to get out to the woods more often! Noticed that most of them have the small driver on the back, but this one has a chisel, complete with liner cutout, and I'm sure it's not a mod. Is this odd or did they come both ways? Should be good for whittling and other woodsy type stuff anyway. All the tools indicate mid to late 90's production.  :salute:
I like the chisel and round eye glasses driver.

Lost it? It was stolen from me. It was so beautiful. I was out for a drink with some nice people I'd never met before. Next thing I knew, I awoke in a hotel bath full of ice and my glorious backside had been surgically removed.

Let me serve as a lesson to everyone out there with an aesthetically balanced backside. Look after it, and in the words of the great Ronnie James Dio, Don't Talk To Strangers.

Another nice old 91mm Woodsman from the 60's joins the family.  Pre-magnifier/Phillips and all that good stuff......

Top two (both 84mm and 91mm) are from the 40's/50's, next two from the 60's, next two from the 70's and the bottom (91mm only) from the 80's with the magnifier/Phillips.
