Thanks Def,it came out great, and you can read the LM USA along side the blade also, and Bob I was wondering,Cabela's and Early Winters where some of the first early orders in 1983,and maybe the ones
done for Cabela's was the first ones that the put knurled knobs on,all the rest that we have seen with
rivets don't have the Cabela's name on the side!!!

No-go on that theory Chief. I've seen pictures of Cabelas PST's that have rivets. :-\

I have a theory maybe the first original ones had the knurled screws and after that the orders come in so fast that they didn't have enough of them to go around so they went to the easiest fastest next best thing the rivets.  Then when more of the knurled screws were made and they were caught up they went and started putting them back on. Same with the knife blade the first ones were USA made maybe then to many orders forced them to order the Japan blade that is common to find on some of the old ones.  This could be why you don't see as many with the rivets.
know what that means if I am anywhere in the ballpark about it that would make the rivets even more rare and collectable :o :D just a thought though :)

Your theory does seem to fit some of the clues we are uncovering Poncho. :-\
