Opening the Skeletool With One Hand
on: August 13, 2008, 03:34:48 PM
I mentioned this in another thread but I thought it might deserve it's own. Maybe everyone has already figured this out.

The Skeletool is a stiff tool and tricky to open to the pliers/screwdriver with one hand. For those who carry it on a belt loop by the caribiner there is a better way.

Pull the tool to the screwdriver position before you remove it from your belt loop. Then, if you need the pliers, it is easy to hold the tool in the middle, pliers in your palm pointing up, and push it the rest of the way open with your thumb and fingers.

I just thought I'd share this but it might be old news.

Heh kinda reminds me of Spyderco's waved offerings. Well, except the waved Enduras and Delicas and such opened while coming out of the pocket. Good observation!
