So me and me Granddad went to a regular local car boot sale. Loads of people because the weather is heating up and you know... Spring cleaning.
The rest, as they say, is history.  :D

Pre-2004 Climber. Excellent condition. Its just that its a bit dirty.  ::)

Very pleased. Cost 3 Euro. That's about $4 or £2.   :D

That is a really nice find pablo - great score.

Congrats,

I will have a go at dating although someone with more experience will no doubt come along and give a more definitive answer.

I have your tang stamp as 1986 - 2008

I have your scissors as 1992 - 2007 based on the silver rivet

So 1992 to 2007

There was a notch added to the caplifter/screwdriver tool in 1999 so a pic from above with the tools closed would cut this date range in half.

I'll add my two cents. After 2000? (SAMM's dates) from the scissors handle and before 2004 from the 2.4mm tang. Could be the beer talking.

I thought that it would be best to ask about this car boot sale find here.

A 111mm Fireman with olive drab scales and a liner lock. The main blade is scratched up, and the can opener design seems to be pre-2004.  :D

Great condition, except for the main blade. It came with a Vic pouch as well. Not bad for €15.

My question is, whats with the back tang stamp?

I've never seen it before (not that that counts for anything...) and google results say Danish army knife, but that makes no sense. Maybe reused stock?
