Is anyone here a connoisseur or knowledgeable bladesmith that knows of
William F. Moran's Bowie knives? Seen one
on eBay and am curious about the stamp,
is it genuine? I probably don't stand a chance on this one as I've seen a Wikipedia post stating one of his knives sold for $30,000 at an auction.
Note: Well, the seller responded to a question I had asked and am definitely out of my league. My measly bid was shot down in a split second!
