Out of curiosity, you wrote "most". Does that mean that there are tools, or more specifically MTs designed to float?

I seem to recall seeing a SAK bundled with one of those self-inflating key-chains once. Also, a lot of fishing knives are built to float while including e.g. a fish scaler, ruler, and bottle opener. I own a slightly gimmicky one like that myself.
