Hi from GA
on: August 15, 2015, 06:31:50 AM
Hi,

I'm from Augusta, GA. I am a College Student and about to turn 20 in a few weeks. I am a tech nerd, and I am interested in purchasing a multitool and I do not know what to get. Any reccs for a rookie?

Welcome Joel!

May I ask what college your attending?

Do you happen to know your schools weapon policy?

As for me, I'm 20, and go to NWF State College.

For a tech nerd, your options are open. Do you work with wiring frequently?

What are some other tools you use?

As of now, I'd recomend a whole EDC of a lighter for heat shrink, flashlight for crammed spaces, and a full size multitool.

The scissors or magnification on SAK might suite some needs.

But the full size pliers of a Leatherman or a Swiss tool would come in handy.
