I'll like a non-metal buckle with inner pouch for travel and one without pouch for daily wear. Just locked up Bison's website, T Lock Money Belt ($18.50-23.00) fits the bill for travel. Maybe a polymer click buckle belt from Blackhawk for daily.

Do you remember the model and price of your Bison Carbon Fiber buckle belt?
They still have it, it's called the carbonator, I know it was in the $30's, I know it wasn't cheap!

Yea, its carbon fiber part and patented. If it is high quality and does not shred the belt, I'll take one.
Do you want me to take pics of mine? The carbon fiber is very smooth, there's no teeth to chew into the belt, so I don't think it would shred it, on top of that the belt texture feels a little diff from your normal canvas belt, it's more like a tie down strap that you use on the roof of your car. It's kinda hard to explain.

Wow, this is totally belt week! That one belt has had my eye now for like two years, I let it go then the other day found it again and said screw it I'm getting it! Then the other day I won something but they didn't say what until today, needless to say "a belt" lol, I can care less I like belts! The wife on the other hand, err, I can feel it now  another belt! Why do you need another belt! This will make #5 from Bison :D plus the tactical one with the pocket! So a total of 6, I guess I'll have to tell her I still need one more so I can have one for each day of the week :D
JR
Here's the info on the one there sending, looks interesting, it's reversible so it's two belts in one, so I guess that will make my total 7 :( oh well,,

It'll be nice to see your carbon fiber buckle. Thanks MadP. :salute: Hope my next Bison belt will be worthy and stay in one piece.

I guess sometimes it pays to wait for a good opportunity to get something. Today, I got a pair of North Face pants at 50% off 89usd.

Here, not the best of pics, I only took them with my iPad, and normally the best pics I can take are in the window with sunlight, but it's cloudy so no light, so I had to take them on my workstation with crappy light.. Hope this helps, I took a few from diff sides.

Anybody make big winter overcoat belts by buying heavy nylon  2 1/2" military lashing straps and cutting them to size? Cost is about $11.00

I just got a couple in...

Sorry JR, I wasn't clear. I buy these long military straps and make big, heavy hunting belts (to go over heavy coats) out of them. Been doing it for years, also for stuff like gas weed eater slings etc.  I was wondering if anybody else did that too.

Gotcha! I take it they're 2-1/2" wide? Is that your stitch work in that one pic? That's some HEAVY DUTY work! Is green the only color? When I was looking I was so looking for a black riggers belt but with red stitching, I even spoke to someone about having a custom made but he never really got back to me. When the new one gets in(supposedly Monday) I'll have to see about taking red string and looping the stitching on it?

Well here it is, Bison sent a thick, stiff, "reversible olive drabish tan/black" belt with black plastic buckle! Not to bad, just needs to be broken in! Other then that I'd say it's a pretty good belt! I like how the one corner is cut off, makes it pretty easy to get through the buckle

Well, according to usps my belt will be here tomorrow! Now, when do I get to try it? We got to get up and go to a simple appointment, come home and get the mail, but then off to another appointment but this one for the wife(she has to have stitches removed) then when done we have to come back home and rest for a few before heading off with friends to go to our little guys school for orientation, then finally come home to relax! So idk when I'll get a pic taken of the new belt, nor even eat? So maybe that night, or next day I'll get it posted, idk?

Wow, I must say this bad boy is heavy! I took a few pics and put them into a collage cause it's just easier, but if you see one pic or are interested in one just let me know and I'll just post that pic.. So a few things about this belt, it's heavy, it's stiff, it's stitched everywhere, and that pocket is sewn in, but not completely, the top and bottom are lose, the sides are what are stitched. It definetly needs to be broken in! I took a few other pics along with my other belts to give an idea on size wise, three are the same size at 1-1/8", the next two are 1-1/2", and lastly that new one is 1-3/4"! All five of the others are by Bison, and that new one is by S.O.Tech, all six to be American made! One thing I did notice is on the bottom between the buckle and the loop, there is a red stitch, kinda as if the stitching was to give way it's a warning to say, don't even think of using it! Other then that I think I did good?
