This thread has been dragging out longer than the Barely Grilled knife thread... :pok: :D

 :D

Somehow I missed that comment.  Good $hit SporK!
I think that's because most off us have given up on ever seeing it ::)

I think you're all a bunch of rotters :P    It is his first SAK mod.

Admittedly I think he's a bit  :ahhh  Most of us start off with scales swaps, then straight 91mm layer removals etc. etc.

Not Mikko, he thinks, "fugthat I'll do a custom alox with unique layers and tools".

(Image removed from quote.)

I think it may take him a bit longer :)

Neil

I'm pretty sure Mike was referring to the infamous Bear Grylls knife from another thread. ;)
In order to be certain of having the right tool for every job.........one must first acquire a lot of tools

Now I'm a little confused and off track...it's a Vic combo-tool Mikko is waiting on?

I thought it was a Wenger universal wrench to replace the Magnifying lens...or is the original plan of a custom bit driver adapter still in place?

He wanted the wrench but I don't think he could get one.  In case anyone has one lying around I would like to add a wrench too, of course when I get my SAK (fingers crossed for next week)

My understanding is that he had built the custom bit adapter to go opposite the phillips and was just polishing it up. The combo tool he was waiting for just arrived the other day, so we should be seeing some pics shortly...  :pok: :D

They want you to pay customs on a lousy combo tool? That's ridiculous! How much could it possibly be? 1 penny?  >:(
