Want to hear something amusing? I am sitting at a cigar shop while my wife shops in the Arboretum area in Austin. She shows up here with a Nite Ize Key Rack. She said she thought it would be something I would like.

I keep my keychain pretty simple. I do not like a bulky keychain.

It is a transponder for our home security system. The yellow dot is epoxy resin adhesive with glow powder.  ;)

It's quite a handsome SAK. The Vagabond is the mid range between the Rambler and the MiniChamp, right?

Yes, that is right. Additionally to the tools of the Rambler it has got an emergency blade and an orange peeler.

My Leatherman Rime carabiner has arrived. After fondling this thing for a few minutes.  This carabiner definately has potential.  Especially if you into one piece keyring tools.  For example, with an upcoming rain-snow-sleet front coming this way.  I get to try out the scraper on my car windows.  Among other possiblities.
Unlike some nay-sayers.  I think making this was a wise move on Leatherman's part  :tu:

Style CS is a very good light carry IMO.

That said I've been carrying my Micra, peanut lighter and Eagletac D25A Clicky. 8)

In my opinion this is a perfect "secondary" carry. Your only missing a toothpick or this would be perfect.  :D

It's quite easy to cut down a Vic toothpick and put it in there :)

This. Just today I changed the carabiner with a Leatherman carabiner. Why? Just because.
This is my car's keychain. My full keychain has a big carabiner with smaller carabiners or keyrings in teams. One with my car's keys, one for my apartment, one for my office, one for my country house (and bicycles), one for my parent's house, one for my wife's car and garage and one for the clinic I run. It is big, noisy and heavy, don't try to assault me while I carry it. Only my car's keyring is in my pocket all the time, so the Vic stays there.
