RIP Jonah Lomu

Really saddened and shocked to read of the death of Jonah Lomu this morning

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/34853536

Surely one of the greatest players and sportsmen the game of rugby has ever known
There is no beginning,or ending, and for this we are thankful, cos now is hard enough to understand!

Agreed, RIP Jonah

He was a very divisive player BUT he got a lot more people watching and playing the game, a truely great ambassador for the sport. Personaly I thought he was brilliant.

40 is way too young...
The difficult we do immediately, the impossible takes a little longer.

More sad news... I still remember seeing him play. Great athlete, great player.

And yet again, another loss:

John Gainsford, whom represented 33 times the Springboks, died today in Cape Town, at 77.

Jonah Lomu was one of the greats, that's for sure.  Very sad to hear about his passing. :(

I have very bitter sweet memories of watching him sprint up the left wing, ball in hand, grinning like a loon with four Scotsmen hanging off his waist. :D

I remember him in the nineties... legendary in those days, known for being unstoppable.
