Anyone else like Persian food?

I found a Persian restaurant in town and have been going regularly. I am really liking the food. Anyone else?

God I wish I could answer this. I love food of all sorts, and try new types as often as I can, but ive never had Persian. I love where I live, but there are just no interesting restaurants here. None. most exotic place around are some terrible Indian places, or a decent Gyro resturant. If I want Falafel, I have to go an hour North.

Hmmmm... There are millions of eastern and middle eastern restaurants around here but I cant say I have seen a single Iranian one.

Is it similar to Turkish?  I live near "the biggest mosque in the southern hemisphere" and they have really good food.

Don't have one where I live now, but back in Edinburgh there were a few to choose from.  Fantastic food.

There are no persian restaurants nearby but there is an awesome Mediterranean restaurant maybe 20 minutes from where I live. You sit on the floor and they give you a beach towel for a napkin.

I'd love to try Persian food. I have been told many Northern Indian dishes are really recipes which started up as food for the higher-ups in the Persian empire, and those dishes I have tried from there have all been

I love Persian food! When i lived in Omaha there was a nice little Persian joint in the Old Market that I hit up a few times. But since my Wife isn't adventurous when it comes to food, I usually either had to go alone (which I hate doing) or going with a buddy (who would rather go to Hooters ::)).

We have a few Syrian and Lebanese restaurants here- most just open for a few years and then they disappear.

In general they have some nice dips and interesting, fried sweets.
However most are available in regular restaurants and bakeries here, so there is not that much interest in going to a speSmurfpillsed restaurant
