Polar & Enzo Blades
on:
December 20, 2015, 08:03:34 AM
Hey gang,
I am looking at buying some unhandled blades that I can handle and make sheaths for.
One brand I can get sent is Polar. Anyone have any experience with this make? thoughts? recommendations?
Another one is Enzo, does anyone know about these?
Or does anyone have a third suggestion?
Thanks team.

There used to be some schrade USA blanks floating around eBay. They should be already heat treated

Enzo knives are very good quality indeed. Their benchmark product being the Trapper 95, google it to see the very many positive reviews.
One of their great selling points is the varieties of steel in which they make the blades - Sandvik (12C27), N690, 01, D1, D2 etc. All the blades are available separately and in kit form.
Try this chap for your supplies, I use him as my main supplier and, in addition to being a thoroughly nice chap, his service is very good indeed: -
