Farmer/Pioneer mod without adding a layer

I've seen a ton of mods to the Farmer and Pioneer (mostly scissors) accomplished by adding an extra layer; has anyone seen one where the opener/cap lifter were removed and replaced with the combo-tool and scissors, similar to the setup in the Compact?

From measurements I've made it looks like the Combo Tool from the 91mm should be the correct width to replace the 93mm reamer.  What back spring was used for the scissors?  Was it a difficult mod?

You're right, the 91mm combo tool drops right in. I used a Solo blade spring for the scissors, with a bit of grinding and bending to the spring. Getting the spring right needs a gentle touch but it's not too hard.
