Did you do that for a different style blade or fun? I'm not very familiar with the group of skeletool like tools.
I have a Leatherman surge, rebar, wave, and a super tool 300. I can also solve 3x3x3, 2x2x2, and 2x2x4 rubix cubes.

The tools are mislabeled, the Skeletool is marked Freestyle and vise versa.  Very cool collectibles :tu:

The black shading is different, like it's swapped. I'm pretty wondering it's the CX has partial serrated and if the style has plain edge
Although if it was just a misprint that is probably one in million set right there.

My guess is PE on both tools.  I believe the mis-marking on these tools happened a while after Leatherman quit putting the CE blades on the CX series. Could be wrong though.

They come up every once and a while on EBay, I've seen them new in the blister pack before... probably should have bought them :facepalm:.
