Yeah it does! I think you have one of the best perspectives coming into this. Not dogging anyone else, I just like that your going from a Full Size LM to a Full Size SOG.
Used the needle nose to ream/woller out some copper and allow me to insert a copper line before braising. I like that it is more rounded than the head on Leatherman Surge. Haveing second thoughts about the nose job performed on my Surge. Forgot I used it for this. Oh yah, as I was reaming copper out, the other comfort grip/ tool cover slid up and was subsequently removed.
I don't know if yours is different, but on my unmodified powerlock the knife blade and scissors are in the grip with the lettering.

But how are those covers attached? They seem to come loose all the time!
i had similar issues with my Powerlock. I just tossed the handle covers, they were more annoying than they were worth.
Just call them up. They should send you one.
