Can I ask you something ? I've got a PST II (0996), but there is only stamped LEATHERMAN TOOL - Portland OR on the handles, no "PST II". I thought PST II were stamped clearly, so there is some different versions of the PST II ? Like PST ? I also saw two kinds of files, apparently. I need to replace the blade for my PST II, is there different versions of blades, depending of the year ? I have read a lot of things about PST, but I've not found the same informations about the PST II :)

Thank you very much Antti Lammi ! You know what ? I'm an idiot !

I have forgotten that I had a PST II NIB (1102), so I could have checked that by myself

But there is one tool that I couldn't compare, and it's the blades, obviously :D

So now I know I can order a blade for PST II on ebay, it's going to fit, and to be correct with the date of the tool. Thank you for your answer  :hatsoff:

Nothing to do with that, but I see that you're finnish, and I just wanted to let you know that I came in Levi, in march 2024, with my wife (gift for her birthday), and it was a marvellous trip (snow village, wood-fired marshmallows, and very good people in your country). And -we were very surprised : not a single traffic light in the town ! Great respect for pedestrians, etc., we'll never forget :)

And nice ski slopes too  :tu:

The early PST IIs used the same handles the the PST which were being marked and called LEATHERMAN TOOL.

The blades should the same.
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

Yes  :tu:

On the other hand, I've got right now a 94 PST, and a 96 PST II.

I'll show you a picture, one side of the PST is not stamped at all. Nothing.

Yes, for the longest time only the blade handle was stamped.  Then the started dates on both handles and then the tool name on the file handle.  It was a work in progress.   Mostly cosmetic. But ever EVOLVING!
