I just find it funny that SOG published a blog post on the subject

As far as I know, with that kind of can opener it's necessary to go in front direction not back.....

I got a much better, uh, open by going backwards than when I go forwards.

It's funny but not
After hurricane Katrina one of the common question to relief workers was..."I have plenty of canned food but how do I open it without power for my can opener"
