Help cleaning Wave saw
on: September 01, 2008, 07:01:14 PM
I used my saw yesterday clearing out some branches on my deer stand trail, and now I have some sticky stuff on my saw that wd-40 and scotchbrite wont remove. Is there any way to get this stuff off of there?

Another solution for next time: Mineral Spirits.

I had some spar urethane stuck on my Super tool. A day of soaking in mineral spirits and it ate the stuff off.

Mineral Spirits will eat away a lot of junk, and (unlike water)  it won’t risk rusting the tool.
