Dark gray Pioneers
on: February 18, 2016, 03:24:08 PM
I see DLT Trading has added dark gray pioneers for $30 which is a decent price I think.

I liked how they posted a pic of one next to a black one so you can get a good sense of the shade of gray.

Wish it was an electrician though. Lol.

And 5-packs and 10-packs too!  Someone seriously overstocked on these.

It's close, but not quite.  I'd actually prefer it if it was a bit more different though.

Well that's interesting. I just ordered some from Cutlery Shoppe. Since both have co.'s now them, I bet Vic made a batch of black pioneers that were a bit light and decided to discount them...   Still looking forward to getting a few.

You might be right. I just got mine in. Dark gray is not a good name for this color. It's black. Just not as deep a black--an ever so slightly faded black--from the typical black on Alox.

Cannot say this for all of them sold, but all the ones I bought from DLT are all Dark Grey.  :salute:

I got one and when it arrived, compared it to my Black Pioneer...very little difference in color.  Unfortunately the pictures I took didn't come out well.
