A very sad day indeed.  The shock and disbelief are giving way to anger.  I am glad you're alright though.

Day 23:

Two weeks ago I decided it was time to do something about the fact that I've been putting on some weight these last months, so I started running.  I should tell you guys that I've always hated running, I love mountainbiking, but running ...  :td:.

But since I don't have the time to go on a two hour bike ride, every two days, I decided I could spend 20 minutes four times a week on running.

So two weeks ago I've started, took my boys with me and ran for 20 minutes (sometimes we had to walk a bit ...  ::)).  And since then we went once every two days, my youngest one quit today, but the oldest one is starting to like it, and so do I.

I took a pic of my Garmin Fenix next to Mr. Wave, please keep in mind that we started from nothing, so the distance we ran, and the time we needed to do it are far from impressive, but at least we are working on it  ;).  And I can already tell my legs are not nearly as stiff as the were after the first run  :D.

Day 24:

No work for Mr. Wave today, but I did tighten the screws on the handles of Mr. BO Wave, since the inside tools were way too loose for my liking.  They even had some up and down play when locked, but that's gone now.

So after filing down the lock on the PE knife (the lock that keeps the knife closed when the pliers are deployed), and now tightening the screws on the inside tools, my BO wave is finally up to par with my 5 years older stainless Wave ...  ::).  The pliers are still a bit loose, but I read here somewhere that the most recent Waves all seem to be more loose than the older ones.  It's not problematic, but I do like the feeling of my stainless Wave better.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, PLEASE Leatherman, get your act together, get that QC back to the standards from, let's say, 15 years ago ...
You owe it to your customers, your fans, and your reputation  :viking:.

You should only ever run when something dangerous is chasing you!

Well done on the exercise. I am a cycling fanatic so I try to get on my bike every day (being a farmer helps!)

About time I posted the traditional "opening a bag of chips" pic  :D.

Day 26:

Last thursday my youngest son came home from school feeling sick, coufing, feverish ... He stayed home from school on friday because of it.  And yesteday evening I noticed I felt warm, I had an itchy throat ... so I knew what was coming  ::).

Woke up today feeling quite sick, and my oldest son is feeling sick also ...  So I guess we're going to spend most of our time this weekend on the couch.

So here's my pic for today, my wife made us some tea, and I thought I could kill two birds with one stone, so I'm posting this pic here, and in the "multitool with tea" topic  ;).

Thanks guys  :salute:.

Day 27:

Last night was probably one of the worst nights of my life (I'm sure I've had worse, but this one is fresh in my memory  :P), lying awake all night because of chills, muscle cramps and spasms from high fever ... So I'm going to post a pic here fast, since my fever is a bit better now that my meds are working at their best for the moment.

My wife placed a foldable bed in the living room for me, so my youngest son is lying on one couch, the oldest son on the other couch, and TG24 on the foldable bed, and meanwhile Mrs. TG24 (8 months pregnant) is taking care of all of us ... (how can I ever win the "stronger/weaker sex" discussion now ...  ::)).

So, here's Mr. Wave posing on my foldable bed, not the most exciting pic ever, but it will have to do ...

Day 28:

Still feeling feverish and weak ...

But a little bit better than yesterday, so I guess we're moving in the right direction (be it a bit too slow for my liking  ::)).
So another day on the couch for me and Mr. Wave, luckily I found something to help us pass the time ...

And a pic of two "brothers" ...

So, still not 100% okay, but it's getting better all the time ...  ;)

The final countdown has begun ... in exactly one month the newest member of my family is due to arrive  :mail: .

(no, not by mail, but this smiley was the most suitable of them all in my opinion).

So here's a pic of my "what do I have on the way ..." along with Mr. Wave  ;).

Day 30:

With summer around the corner (be it quite a distant corner ...) we bought a garden bench today.  Our Citroën Berlingo proved its worth again by being able to carry the 225 cm long box that contained the bench without any trouble, I really like that car ...  ;)

Anyway, back home, Mr. Wave helped me to open the box, and we put the bench together.

SUMMER !!! You can come now, we're ready !!!  8)

Great bench.  You did well putting it together.  I am the one that my family looks to whenever something comes in a big flat box with the words "Some Assembly Required" printed on it.  So, I completely understand.

My oldest son just turned 11 last Januari and the youngest one turned 9 last October, so in a couple of years I'm going to know the joy of having a young child and two boys in their puberty in the same house, (can't say I'm really looking forward to that  ::)).

Nice bench! I'm suprised Mrs. TG24 allowed that pregnancy pic though. Mrs. sLaughter is pretty forgiving of this habit of ours, but I think she might have given me a good  :twak: for trying to pull something like that...

I think that, after 22 years of being a couple, she's given up on trying to change me ...

Earlier in this topic I've been dared to take a pic of my multitool in the delivery room, let's see how she's going to react to that ...
