Well... hope you enjoy it... still thinking the Byrds would have been a better buy.

I mean I like Moras and I think the Garberg will be a winner, but the Bushcraft one always felt gimmicky to me...

no, i have no plans to get one of these for my small selection of disparate tools. It is a lovely looking knife though. But, I already have a mora knife, and I doubt I'd utilise a knife such as the bushcraft - however, I do see a use for the eldris in my selection and depending on cost I may well purchase one of those. How bout you Mags ? You getting a bushcraft for your collection ??

Well.........you didn't go wrong there!

Still is and likely to remain my favourite knife.

Only bad thing about it is the price, and I got mine at 40% discount from a local retailer, so it was 100% a bargain.

I used mine again exclusively this weekend, lit every fire, even did some light batoning to get kindling.

Its orange, how can you even ask?  :twak:

Seriously, it pisses me off to think I will never be able to make something this light, strong and capable myself.

I got mine for R700-and-something at a Due South shop clearing sale, everywhere else has been to expensive.

Go for it  :tu:

You can never go wrong with a mora :tu:

From personal expieriance i would advise people to buy brightly colored bushcraft knives and firesteels etc..
I have a dark green/black mora and a black firesteel and when it its dark or getting dark it is very easy to lose youre knife or firesteel. Light my fire offers the fire steel army 2.0 in bright orange and mora also offers orange handled knifes.

But black sure look cool :tu:

I've not lost any of my camp tools however I have made it a point to attach brightly colored lanyards to whatever I take outdoors that isn't bright.
